Season Opener Volleyball
Season Opener for Lady Panther Volleyball, August 27, 2026. at 5:15 PM. 7th Grade will be at MDJH and 8th Grade will play at Katy Junior High.

Join us for the MDJH Open House on Friday, September 11, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The Title I Parent Meeting will take place at 5:00 p.m., at the beginning of Open House. Families will have an opportunity to meet teachers, explore the campus, and connect with our Panther community.
MRHS, MDJH, and MRJH orchestra students will perform at the game. Tickets are $13 per person and must be purchased by Wednesday, August 26. Click here to purchase your tickets!

The Katy ISD Board of Trustees approved a $1.17 billion General Operating Fund budget for the 2026 – 2027 fiscal year at its August 24 meeting, part of a $1.48 billion total budget that also funds food service and debt service. The budget is supported by a proposed total tax rate of $1.1171 per $100 of valuation — unchanged from last year. The Board reviewed the proposed rate earlier this month and is scheduled to formally adopt it in September.

Families planning to enroll new students in Katy ISD for the 2026-2027 school year are encouraged to complete preregistration before summer deadlines to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

Katy ISD is helping students stay energized and ready for summer activities through its Summer Food Service Program, which provides free breakfast and lunch meals to children 18 years old and younger, regardless of enrollment status. Children must be present to obtain a free meal and are not required to show identification or be Katy ISD students. Parents are welcome to purchase a meal to enjoy with their children.
